Holiday Mode: Revealed

Ok, we all need a break sometime so Evony has given us the option of using a Holiday Mode.

What it does:

Prevents other players from being able to attack you.  <— Like an extended Truce.

Stops all resources use and production.  <— This is great if you have a huge army that requires regular farming to feed.

What it requires:

No builds of any kind can be active in ANY of your cities. <— No troops, defenses, buildings or even research.

No troops can be out on march or reinforcing from ANY of your cities.

20 cents in game coins to start gets you 2 days.  10 cents per day after that.

How to Activate Holiday Mode:

When you’re logged in to your server click on your picture in the upper right corner of your screen.

Click on ‘Change’ nest to Player Status:

You’ll be prompted to Select Status: Holiday, and the number of days, no less than 2.

IF you want your Holiday mode to Auto Extend then make sure the Auto Extension box is checked.  Then type in your password:

How to De-Activate Holiday Mode:

To De-Activate Holiday Mode go to your regular login screen and type your name and password.  You’ll be presented with the box show below.  Click ‘Deactivate …’ to turn off Holiday and Log in.  Keep in mind that you’ll be charged for game cents in 2 day segments so try to Deactivate near the end of your current Holiday Mode.
